IMAP4rev2 polling consumer with implicit TLS from the start of the connection (port 993 by default). Sibling of imap:// — same parameter surface, same body shape, same header conventions.

URI shape¶

imaps://host[:port]?username=…&password=…&folderName=INBOX

Default port: 993. All other params are identical to imap://.
